If You Knew Me In My Previous Life

I realized a couple things recently:

Blogging is a lot of work. Good, fun and exciting work but a lot of it. Starting from kind-of scratch is way weirder than I thought it would be. I'm not getting emails from a bunch of comments on each post, I don't have previous posts to link to, people aren't mentioning me in their posts because as far as they know, I don't exist (anymore.. not that a bunch of people mentioned me or anything but now no one does. Which is cool, I mean, it's fine. WOAH, RAMBLE! Done).

I missed the people in blogland. I haven't been keeping up with people's lives and it's making me sad. Wahh. I really got to know people, at least I feel like I did, and now those relationships have faded.

Cleary the relationship with the star of my last blog, and inevitably this one too, is going strong.
After reconnecting with my bloggyblog self, I realized that a lot of you reading  r i g h t   n o w  knew my old blog. I did love that blog but I got tired of it. I even redesigned it in the last year or so to try to get back into it and I couldn't. That phase of my life was over, no use denying it.

This is a new chapter and one I'm excited about. New stuff is happening and I'm in a different place than I was a couple years ago. For example, I do dishes more often now.

But I got a whole lotta crazy still left in these bones (honestly, who says that? what is wrong with me?) and I want to share it. #sorryaboutitworld

So stick with me while I go through glittery, sarcastic growing pains (get it, because my blog's name is Glitter and Sarcasm..) and tell me when I'm funny or weird or sort of impressive because I need to hear it sometimes because I'm needy. Also feel free to tell me when I'm annoying or idiotic or lame, because I'm those things too, but just send those in a private email.

Anyway, thanks for showing up today and trying this new thing out with me. I promise it won't be like the experimental drugs you tried in college. Unless you enjoyed them.. in which case it will be like that..? Mmm. I'll work on my metaphors.

  1. I'm excited to see you back in blog land.
(I accidentally typed Blow land... & almost kept it just because) :)

  2. Literally so exciiiiited for this. I've been working on a new one too..starting over is so weird

  3. hahahaha you are definitely funny and weird, welcome back to blog land :) i'm gonna be a creep and stalk you on all the social medias now, so high five for weirdos.

  4. I'm glad you're back to blogging. So, question. What did you do to transfer things like Bloglovin profile??? I followed you on there and this new blog is there. So clearly you did something right because it transitioned. I'm wanting to redo my blog but would like to keep my followers.

  5. I'm so happy that you are back!! Cannot wait to follow along and see everything you have to share :)

  6. I'm excited to learn more! And AMEN it is so much work sometimes...

  7. welcome back, lady! excited to see what you've got in store for us :)

  8. Yes, blogging IS a lot of hard work! I've stepped away from blogging for a while and, like you, lost a lot of those relationships. I'm trying to rebuild them :)
